Need Your Feedback For More Templates

As you probably know- one of my products is Killer Video templates or simply videos from templates. They’re getting pretty popular among our little Internet Marketing community so I’m thinking I need to expand the choice of those. And here’s where you come in!

I want you to tell me what it is you’d like to see in future Killer Video Templates. Let me know if you like the customizable image spots and would want some more or you don’t like them. Do you like the ability to stuff a lot of text in fewer scenes or do you prefer short and punchy text spots? What about the colors- dark or light? Music? Fancy 3D animations?

So please comment this post and let me know what you’d like in future templates. I will use this information and develop something you’ll be super excited to implement in your business.

I’m really looking forward to your ideas and suggestions 🙂

  1. Yes, I like the customizable image spots, and I like brighter colors with up-beat music options also. I am not very interested in fancy 3-D, but geometric pattern backgrounds or majestic natural scenes with appropriate music might sell well. I appreciate you trying to stay on the cutting edge of these.

  2. HI Chris

Your product is excellent. I would say that the more templates the better but maybe have categories to put them in.

Also, perhaps a choice of music for each? Uplifting, moody, dramatic etc but each synched with the video.

Very impressed with the results of my vid so far, After two days, 70 odd views, 6 sign ups and 2 sales at $197 each 🙂

    1. Awesome, thanks for your input, David! I really like those specific numbers, do you mind if I use them in my sales letter somewhere (with reference to you of course)?

this is gonna be real cool if more people pitch in

  3. Chris,

I’ve received awesome reviews from the video I got from you. The quality and imagery is fantastic.

I suggest you do divide the videos up some so you have some with a more uplifting theme as well as some of the more dramatic pieces (that is what I got!).

Yes, I say keep the videos coming as new products get developed the need will increase all the way around.

I also like the ones with visuals moving in and out of the scene in a fluid motion.

    Thanks Chris.

  4. Hey Chris -love your vids!

3D animations would be great…motivational, build suspense music, upbeat music (you already have some of that too already)

What would be real nice…if I could give you a 15 second video of me..introducing or ending with a stinger or bumper and your template allows a beginning or ending to be put in – that way brings a nice ‘reality style’ to it as well.

    Cheers, Maria Gudelis

  5. Hi Chris,

I only “discovered” you recently and have yet to decide what to go with – I like different elements of different videos.

How much work would it be to offer a choice of audio and match it up with a choice of video or backgrounds? I suppose there are factors that make this a bad idea, but for vids where synchronization doesn’t matter…?? Just a thought.

Your videos are so much over-the-top to begin with that I don’t think I’ll go wrong with whatever choice I make.

But for the record, I really like the cinematic approach and the punchy way you introduce short bursts of text. With the right text, it’s very dramatic and hopefully pushes the right buttons. 😉

I’m also pretty conservative and prefer light, neutral backdrops, esp if I’m going to tie in one of your intro videos to an existing vid.

    Thanks for inviting feedback.

    1. Thanks, Vicky
It’s pretty hard to sync music with animation, but nevertheless if I could come up with great music that’s more generic we could offer a “video builder” type of thing.

      keep the advice coming 🙂

  6. By all means Chris, please use the stats – the site the video is on is http://www.SimpleMember.com. I was going to put up a standard squeeze page to utilize traffic to an older version of a product which goes to this site but your WSO was timed perfectly and lets people searching for the old product know that there is an updated version. The cinematic ad style adds real drama to the fact that the “Pro” version is out there.

I’ll definately use your videos again bud 😉

  7. Hey Chris,

I’ve ordered a few videos from you but what I’ve realized that these are videos mostly geared towards the Internet Marketing niche.

In my consulting business, small business owners would be a little scared of all the theatrics. 🙂

If you could create something that’s subtle but still gives that spice that would be GREAT!

I guess the key here is a lot of variety in themes. You do that, you can pretty much create a monopoly with your videos. 😉

    Thanks,

  8. Mr Willow :p

I really like the idea of specific image spots, so as long as others pick the images they want, could also be images from their sales pages or even something like clickbank screenshots for example in order to give the new templates an even BETTER attractive visual.

Short and Punchy text spots is probably the most successful and work really well with the templates you already provide. I think keywords from what someone is trying to sell really helps give that (I want to see what this is about) approach and more beneficial for the customer as they would have to read the sales letter anyway. So…

Short And Punchy Is The Way Forward!

I am not to sure as to how the 3D animations would work but theirs always no harm in testing it out.

The music is spot on Chris, i think as others have mentioned such as the cateorgory approach maybe if you work on music for each theme maybe some of your dramtic ones, dance up beat ones. Mike filsaime has a rock one somewhere but you could always test that out for the funky cool sales guys out there lol.

In sense of colors i think its hard to say, depending on your theme appraoch will depend on your colour themes.

  9. Hey Chris, I realize your probably trying to automate and simplify as much as possible, but have you considered adding a voice over option for an additional fee?

    1. Hey, Hamo
If you’re interested, I have a voice talent available at ~$100 per 60 second script (Last time I checked, maybe a little less now).
I can’t really automate videos from templates so my or my assistants work is involved anyways.

      Thanks for the question 🙂

  10. Hello Chris,

Stumbled upon your website through the warrior forum if I remember
correctly and after I looked through your sample templates I just got
the chills. Video and music work extremely well together creating a
exiting video experience. My suggestion to your templates is that you
would try to create one where clients can send you for example screenshots of “money making proof” or picture of the dvd, ebook, cd, book cover. “”Would you like to make this much money this month (the picture of the proof appears) ….. then in the end; just type your name and email to get access to your free copy (picture of a book cover)””

The above was a little example of how I would see it 🙂

Anyways, your doing a great job and keep it up Chris!

    Take care,
p.s. You could always make a high priced product teaching people how
they can make there own templates, and only opening it to 20 or 30
people. I bet you would get many people interested.
