It’s been a good year so far for me and I hope you can say the same about yourself.
Today I wanted to talk a little bit about multiple streams of income or as people say “don’t put all your eggs in the same basket”.
If you’re like me, you probably do quite a bit of marketing on line and you’re involved in more than one product out there.
The good news are- in case something happens to one of your businesses, you’ll always have those others.
The bad news?
Well, for one- you may be spreading yourself too thin. At least I was.
And to be brutally honest- I’m not always able to give my best working at 6 billion different products in 5 billion completely different niches.
For a while you can provide amazing value in all the stuff you do, but it takes a lot of work and more importantly- it’s quite a bit of stress. And you can bur out real quick.
No fun in that.
Well, here’s a tip.
Try focusing on one of your businesses which you like. For me it’s KSV. And instead of developing a bunch of products in other niches, I’ll expand the business I geniunly enjoy.
Add more products, more services and more content in one of your niches and you won’t be putting all your eggs in one basket.
One more thing you can expect to achieve by digging deep is some kind of credibility and status. Many people know you, but if you focus all your energy on one thing, you might earn the so called ‘guru’ status in your field.
I’m not saying you should abandon all your other businesses. I won’t be doing that myself too. I’ll just be focusing more on what I enjoy 🙂
Just some food for thought.
